Please make accept button on arena games

I experienced so many times missing arena games because I waited for 30~60min. And I just left the seat for a while
And the games started. I lost points and my karma point drops
It is terrible idea that arena game starts automatically without accept
please fix it. please
Because of this, I almost make 10 new Id. And this makes me never buy sponsorship of the site

Arena launch is garbage. Many threads on here complain about it, lots of sensible suggestions on how it can be improved and BGA do nothing. That seems to be par for the course with BGA. they want your membership money and are slow to implement changes or bug fixes in a lot of cases. Some games with active devs sort bugs but BGA centric stuff seems to go unheeded. Requests for a dark mode for example have so many up votes but they are on record as saying this is not a priority for them. Like you say, all you can do is vote with your money. It's the only leverage a punter has to not pay them.

I’ve noticed lately that sometimes there is an accept game start option & sometimes there isn’t. It varies within the same game. Does anyone know what that’s about?
I agree that the option should always be present. I prefer not to play with players who have a poor karma rating.

That you can always do with the parameters of each game.
Parameters > advanced settings > and you can choose the level of karma.


The problem I see with an accept button on Arena is that then you can choose to not play with people stronger than you so you do not loose...

Yeah, it's not been clearly stated.
They mean that's it's still that the opponents are hidden information but simply that the table is full and you're choosing to Accept to start the game.

The problem still remains that the other player(s) are still waiting for a confirmation to start and now you're back to the same problem to begin with. Players waiting on other players and never knowing if you're all there at the same time. So this wouldn't really be a solution to the problem.

At best you could have a notification / alarm of some kind to say that the game has started.
Or some crazy 1 minute timeout - I'm ready to start button.

Or maybe a (ver annoying) popup every X minutes which asks if you are sure that you still want to wait to play ?
I mean if you are waiting for a real time game it is for playing now not in two hours so after 10 minutes is it really still worth it ?

I'm part of the lobby testing group. Rehashing the lobby doesn't necessarily fix arena launch. Until I see it first hand I won't mislead people otherwise

Let's wait to see this new lobby released before saying they are doing nothing then
