If you have many favorite games, it is possible that you may be waiting on several games in the Real Time Arena Lobby. Some of those games may not be visible on your screen because they are lesser played games and therefor displayed at the bottom of a fairly large list of games.
When leaving the lobby it is very easy to cancel the games you can see on the screen but forget to cancel a game down in the list. This results in two bad things - a time penalty for the person who has forgotten to cancel - and much wasted time for the other players who find themselves sitting in a lobby where one player is not present. They must patiently wait for the time to expire.
The Arena lobby could be improved with a CANCEL ALL button which would cancel any games you are waiting on.
