Step-back in tutorials

Post by misterbruno »

I've been using some of the tutorials to get a sense of games that are new to me and figure out if I want to try to play. One thing that I think would be nice in a tutorial is if you could go back to a previous step without starting the tutorial over again.

Due to the way replays are implemented and games developed, this is not possible. Developers only create ways to go from one move to the next, not backwards. And if you think this is only a matter of reversing the animations, it's actually a lot more than that... It would mean a great deal of developer work to actually implement that, both on BGA's side and for each game's developer (not all games are developed by BGA's team, most of them are developed by volunteer developers who gave some of their free time to implement the games on BGA)
