But I have been having lots of people quit lately.
yeah, you might not have anyway to win the match, but why quit? Fight. Have fun. Its only a game.

Because their not having fun...who cares if opponent is having fun. There is no fun in winning if you're already dubbed the loser.

There are two different games here. Sure, we all play the first game for the fun of it. The same doesn't hold true for the second game.
When playing a tournament, it is OK to concede. When you play the game for "Fun" or normal (normal for BGA players) mode, Conceding is the same as quitting.

Players quit; I get that. I have Run up against more than a few (Veteran) players asking me to quit the game...stating that - "I have already lost" (When the "game" hasn't been decided), and that they have to go or want to go on to the next game. Seems quitting has become common place here on BGA. It has become Honorable to quit a game match as soon as you lose the game. Chances are - If you waste your opponent's time when playing for (fun) the win, you'll probably get a red thumb.

By default I play every game to the end, even tournament games, even if I've already clearly won or lost (just played one out where I only needed 2 medals second round and got it early but played it out). But if someone wanted to quit early I would, especially in a tournament.

So far I haven't had anyone want to quit early, though.

For Swiss rounds and Round Robin in tournaments on BGA the total score is needed to get a medals difference.
This is used when players have the same win count to determine who has won.
So in those cases you cannot quit.
Much to the chagrin of one of my opponents who saw me get Lucky (yes with a capital ) on four consecutive dice throws.

Hello, je n'ai pas joué beaucoup de parties pour l'instant , mais j'ai déjà rencontré ce comportement avec quelques joueurs , et je dois dire que je n'apprécie pas le décrochage de l'adversaire lorsqu'il est perdant avant la fin du match. En tournoi réel, personne ne se permettrait de quitter la table...
Hello, I haven't played many games yet, but I've already encountered this behavior with some players, and I have to say that I don't appreciate the opponent dropping out when they are losing before the end of the match. In a real tournament, nobody would allow themselves to leave the table...

40 real time games played and only 12 games where opponent quit before the second match.

Long wait getting a real time game going. Any reason why you couldn't put the Arena and basic, real-time game in the same que? Being that there is no real difference between the two.

Not specific to Memoir 44, but one of the differences is in simple mode you can see who is at a table, and have the chance to accept/decline before the game starts. In Arena mode you are not supposed to know who your opponent(s) is before the game actually starts.
