Hey there folks!
When the module for M44 first came out of Alpha, a thread was quickly started just to give our thanks to the developers of the game (Tisaac and I believe some other collaborators)
But as things go, and as it is typical in all things in life... as time passes, routine kicks in, and things become taken for granted.
Nowadays the threads are just one big clusterf* of crying and complaining.
Even worse, things as randomness of BGA, and ELO workings... are complained to them!
FOLKS! Know that Developers =/= are not the same as the BGA administrators. They are private people devoting time to a project of passion. Knock it off with the entitlement!
This is not improved by one very pernicious thing, Cognitive Distortion:
Tisaac and Co:
"When thinking with the cognitive distortion known as magnification and minimization, one of two things happens:
the importance of insignificant events—like a criticism—is exaggerated, or the importance of something significant—such as a greatly working game, and a devoted silent majority fanbase—is lessened.
In other words: a person’s problems are blown out proportion, while the positive aspects are ignored."
So... just wanted to give a quick round of applause
