I am unable to start a game with my 2 friends.
Your interface is HORRIBLE!
They join yet I am waiting for them to join.
Their screens do not give the same info that mine does.
Thier screens say they are in a game, mine says I am waiting for players to join
Do I click on "Start" or "PLAY" What is the difference?
I quit a game yet there is still one in progress???? maybe several in progress?
How/when/where do i set "training mode?"
before I "Start" or "Play?"
Now I just got a trophy for playing 2 games simultaneously?????

You need to simplify the interface.

Someone has to host the table and invite the other players to it. You can't all just click "Play Now" and hope everyone gets seated at the same table. Well, you can try it, but it's random and often won't work if it's a popular game with lots of games starting all the time. If it is a premium game (indicated by a white meeple on a yellow banner), one of you has to be a premium member to host the table.

The easiest way to do what I think you are trying to do:
1) Click the "Play Now" link at the top of the page.
2) Select "Simple Game" in the first column, "Real time" in the second column, and "Friends" in the third column.
3) You will see an area open up labeled "Choose a friend to invite"; select your friends from that list. Note: they must actually be in your friends list; if they aren't you'll have to do this a different way.
4) The message above the list of friends will change to "Choose any game below to start playing with ..." once you have selected at least one friend. Click the "play now" button of the game you want to play with them.
5) That will send an invite for them to click on their computer. Once everyone has joined, click "Start."
