Competition modes

Post by mspider_89 »

Hello everyone

In the game modes, I am a bit confused what is the difference between Normal and Custom setup

Is Normal the version where you choose one map from two random during setup? If so, what is Custom setup?

Thanks

Just click on the option to see the description. Custom is ' each player take whatever map they want

That is actually my question. I was trying to make the question a bit more broad. What does that precisely mean? Each player picks a map from all available? Then can two players have the same map and the 3rd one a different one?
Or is it the version in the rulebook where you have nºplayers+1 maps on the table and they take turns?

"Each player picks a map from all available" => yes
"Then can two players have the same map and the 3rd one a different one?" => yes
It's really just completely custom, with the advantage of not being limited by having only 1 map of each type as in the physical game.
