For more reality….hiding clues

Post by Choupheim »

Hello
For more reality, would it be possible to have an evolution of the game by not displaying the indices in a permanent way?

This seems a fair suggestion to me (although I prefer to play with the low memory mode ^^').

But this is not very easy IMO. When you play the physical game, you often rearrange the cards in your hand, maybe you move some cards up from the others to remember that you have information on them.
All these adjustments you can make in real life, they have to be implemented one by one in the BGA version.

There are several reasons why there's no point in doing that. You could replay the game. So we turn it off too? You could see the game log. Turn that off?
When people play online, they probably won't pay attention to every move. You can't replicate the real life experience online. Rather just make it as pleasant to play as possible. The games play differently so rather embrace it.

This should definitely be optional (not mandatory).

Then people would be free to train their memory, and not use history/replay neither if they wanted to.
