Why I'm not an Expert (not to mention Master)

I'm not an Expert, much less Master in any game on BGA.*

I have noticed several reasons for this:
I play hundreds of different games rather than concentrate on just one game.
Though I am aware of Elo, I play for fun. That is to say I'd rather play the game than work on increasing my Elo rating.
I don't read up on nor watch videos on strategy.
If a player with an Elo well below mine beats me and asks for a rematch I will likely agree if I have the time available.
I notice I play better in the morning, but I still play in the evening as well.
I play against players at any level.
I play against players that regularly beat me.
I don't record notes on every game showing me how I might have played better.

If anyone really wants to rank up to Expert or higher you may see some ideas on how to do it here.

Whether you play casually like me, or concentrate on ranking up your Elo and winning tournaments, I hope you have fun doing it. Game on!


*Technically I am a Master in Just One, but I think the Elo for that is broken, as it counts all completed games as wins, so Elo never goes down.

I'm not sure what your post is about, but personally, I don't care about my ELO if I can play interesting games, with players I can have fun/learn more with.

If most experts of a game play about 10 games a day, and I, as a casual player of that game, play 1 or 2 games a week, it seems normal to me that they will be more experienced than I am.
