Red Thumbs abusers

Hello,

I am struggling with situation, which repeats every time i am playing a new game on BGA.
I am very advanced board game player, i know very vell many games, including combos etc.

When starting a new game, the rank is very low and there is often an issure with my high ranked opponents (400 and above)
Those players very often are giving a red thumb, after a loose against 0-100 rank player, which is riddiculous.
They are offensive and salty, after loosing their precious rank vs assuming-noob-player.

I have my karma ruined many times just because i dare to beat very strong players, which i consider myself too.

I feel this expirience quite unfair, and the higher rank my opponent is, the more chance for being insulted/abused/red thumbed after defeating him.

What should i do?

I often restrict my games to good players maximum when playing a new game, to prevent this time of behaviour. Similarly I only join games with players that don't have a high rank because of that, again only when starting out on a new game. It's sad such behaviour is around, but I'm afraid there is nothing more you can do.

Hi,

Your loss of karma is due to abandoning/be kicked of games not to red thumbs.
People giving you private red thumbs won't give you karma penalties, only public red thumbs and those ones can't be given as easily.

You should consider to play games in time before anything, maybe playing turn-based instead of real-time.
