Karma, red & green thumbs

I see people talk about karma here sometimes, and there's also the green thumbs up and red thumbs down. Is there a way to see what my karma is, and how many thumbs (in either direction) I've given and received?

Karma is easy to see -- it is listed as "reputation" on your profile. It was historically called karma, and the name stuck.

Red and green thumbs have been intentionally hidden. If I recall correctly, it was because people would see their red thumbs received go up, and then give a retaliatory red thumb to recent opponents, even if they didn't initially think they deserved one.

Red thumbs also come in two varieties: public and private.
Private red thumbs just indicate that you don't want to play with this person (their favorite sports team is your team's rival, so obviously you can't be friendly to them ). They do not affect the other person's karma at all.
Public red thumbs indicate that nobody should play with this person (they are rude/vulgar/time out/etc.). Having too high of a red:green ratio will cap one's karma. To prevent abuse of giving out public red thumbs when a private is appropriate, a certain number of green thumbs must be given for every public red thumb. I do not remember what that number is.

While I know this would require manpower beyond what BGA has at it's disposal, some type of investigation should be done on the public red thumbs before impacting a player as I know without a doubt that several I have received WERE retaliatory as I made it clear the player was being reported for their behavior in chat. Also, the notification I received referred to that exact game/player.

Review would be similar to reviewing a chat log just like when you report a player for foul/abusive language etc.
