There is apparently a limit of 500 friends with other BGA accounts. I recently got an error message about this when trying to send a friend request. However, I am not close to having 500 friends, so it seems I have instead hit a limit on number of sent friend requests.
I don't see a good reason for setting that limit at 500. I'm very positive about the current mutual friend system versus the "follower" friend system you had before. But precisely because of that, I don't think the limit of 500 is necessary. If you want to block bot accounts from sending friend requests to everyone, I'm sure there are better ways to do it (especially by stopping bot accts in the first place). So my first request is to increase the friend limit from 500.
If the powers that be decide to keep the limit at 500, then I would very much appreciate if it would be possible to find a list of my previously sent friend requests so that I can delete those that are not reciprocated.
Currently, I'll have to find users that are not on my friend list and click on their personal profiles to see if I might have sent them a request and then remove it. It's pretty much mission impossible, or at least something that would take an unreasonable amount of time. Meanwhile, I'm now effectively blocked from sending friend requests.
Thank you in advance for looking into this. I realize that most BGA players do not want or need more than 500 friends, but for some that are in the board game industry, or that simply have a lot of contacts on here, such a limit is in fact a problem.
