Venom with X2

I believe venom with x2 on it doesn't work on bga as intended since you still have to pay the fee.

Okey, this is not my original issue with venom not working properly, but I just had something come up and couldn't find the game i orginally referenced.
However, this game I'm forced to pay my venom before i complete my turn?

This is to avoid most of blocking situation where you end up in a situation with not enough money and you took a random event that prevent you from restarting your turn

I didn't take a random event before i had to pay the venom? And right after my bonus action I did a venom action, which should make me not have to pay. Also, if I would take a random event prior, you can always pay for the venom, even if it's suboptimal

have at least 1 Action card with a Venom token on it at the end
of your turn, then you must pay 2 money to the supply. If you
cannot pay 2 money, you must undo your turn and perform a
different action."

I didn't take a random event before i had to pay the venom? And right after my bonus action I did a venom action, which should make me not have to pay. Also, if I would take a random event prior, you can always pay for the venom, even if it's suboptimal
