Stuck and Can't Complete My Turn

I chose the animal action card not realizing that I didn't have any open enclosures. It had me first either take a card from the display or from the deck, which I did. Then it asked me to place an animal, but I can't do that. All my animals are greyed out. But I also don't have the option to undo my last action or restart my turn.

Do I have to concede the game? Does that hurt my BGA reputation?

You should be able to undo it.

I think I will l see the game you might be referring to, but in that game you DO have an open enclosure (and 5 money), so I'm not sure if it's the correct game.

Is it possible that you CAN play an animal that you've already selected?

Quite often the options are disabled or simply not available if you can't do them via a rule.

You will only not be able to redo your turn if you drew from the deck.

Do you have your 'animals' card upgraded, and are able to buy an animal directly from the card row within reputation?
Otherwise I guess it's a situation that they didn't quite expect would happen and you are indeed stuck.

I'm hasten to raised a bug report, I'm nearly always wrong. :/

I assume you don't have a Flock animal in your hand? I can't see your hand looking at the table.

I thought I might have a flock animal but I do not. All cards are greyed out (I have 9 cards in my hand).

I did draw from the deck.

Waiting to hear from my opponent as to whether we can agree to dump the game. He's winning so he might not be too happy, but at least it's someone I've played with before and kind of "know".

Not sure if this is considered a bug, but I shouldn't be able to get to a point where I can literally do nothing.

My opponent graciously proposed that we abandon the game. But I'd still like to know if I should report this as a bug.

There are some rare edge cases where we cant detect that the players might get stuck, for instance if he has to pay for Venom AND pay for placing an animal, but dont have enough money to do both.
But in your case I would say it should detect that and prevent you from drawing that card from the deck, so it might be a bug.

Thanks. i reported it. It may not be an actual "bug", but rather a flaw in the implementation of the game which allowed me to progress to a point where I could not continue. It would have been better to force me to return the card I drew from the deck and pass.

You can NEVER undo after hidden information is revealed (in this case, a deck draw). I thought when you said you drew from the deck you meant you selected an animal from the display (not your hand), but I see the deck draw want directly from playing an animal, but from the reputation track street gaining 1 from the 5 power animal action card.

In that case, there should NOT be an undo button, like I said above, but probably a "pass" button (I think that's how it's labeled). Do you know if you saw a "pass" (or something similar like "skip", I forget what it's labeled) button? Did you happen to take a screen shot?

I agree, there should have been a pass button but there was nothing.
