We're just in the opening phase of Expeditions and there doesn't seem to be a way of seeing the cards at a readable zoom level. The only way to know which city it is is to use the hover effect that highlights it on the map. For one member of our game this doesn't seem to be working so she is effectively revealing her 4 destinations randomly.
The game really needs some way to pop-up the cards at large size so you can read them and enjoy the artwork.
