The worst Yahtzee I’ve ever played.

Post by BigWhiteHooter »

The worst yahtzee game I’ve ever seen in my life.
8 games played = 8 games lost. Not even a close game.
Idk if the winner is predetermined or if the algorithms need to be revamp to make the outcome a little more fair across the board because this ridiculous.

I can’t hit a yahtzee nor will I ever roll a 4 of a kind.
Let's see:
1 time: 1 yahtzee for yourself
4 times: no yahtzee
3 times: 1 yahtzee for the opponent

Yeah, this post is ridiculous :)

I can answer kindly, but when you start with lies, that doesn't help you :D
Note that you was wrong once, so it look probable you are wrong twice :)

What are you claiming? That developper coded an algorythm to choose some players, then make those players lose many times in a row by giving them some bad rolls (how so? Defining bad rolls is not trivial in Yahtzee), while still giving you good roll (like your last Yahtzee sometimes?

It's more likely either you got unlucky or very unlucky, you can see the probability under ; or you just play really badly. Or a combinaison of both. Players playing on bga are already some players who are more used of boargame than the average person, so will be better than the average person.

Here is some quick probabilities depending of your real winrate:
- 50% winrate: 0.39% to have 8 loss in a row
- 45% winrate: 0.83% to have 8 loss in a row
- 40% winrate: 1.7% to have 8 loss in a row
- 35% winrate: 3.2% to have 8 loss in a row

I beleive it's on your 9th game, that you're guaranteed to win the game and get yahtzee. But if you're playing some else that also lost 8 games in a row, then you both just don't stop getting Yahtzee, one after each other, every turn and it all gets a bit messy, It's at this point you may have to abandon the game, it's just too much Yahtzee for anyone to handle.

There have been a few complaints and bug reports, apparently some people just want the dice to be random, but they are just crazy, who doesn't like getting Yahtzee??!

Apparently you haven't learned about the dice rolling hack. You just spin the dice when you roll them, and they come up good every time. Takes some practice, but don't give up, you'll get there!

Are you claiming that the dice are rigged, that the results are predetermined instead of random, and that there is some magic algorithm that purposely makes some people lose 8 games in a row, but their never makes someone lose any more than that?
That is completely ridiculous, and the game would have absolutely no integrity if that were the case.

I found out it work even better when i roll with my opposite hand. I'm on 20win streak on BGA thanks to this.

The transition from real life games to BGA can be hard, you can not use techniques of placing the dice in a certain position on your hard and gently sliding them out or asking your opponent to get you a drink which can guarantee getting a Yahtzee.
