Arena games where you can only lose points

I am really fed up of the number of arena games I am getting where I do not gain any arena points for a win. This is not fair. A system in which the rewards are asymmetric makes sense in the league structure. But a system in which games only ever benefit one of the players is fundamentally wrong.

You are gaining points, just not moving up in the league ladders, which is a different issue.
