Can someone help get "Tang Hu Lu" out of Beta?

Post by Starwarrior1128 »

The volunteer developer says he's too busy, but I think the game is almost ready to be done. I've played it a bunch and I don't really encounter any bugs. It just needs 2 small improvements and I think it's completely ready for the general population. 1) Make the victory point stars under the fruit bigger and easier to see. It's a very common complaint. 2) Make it more obvious that you need to click on the dice next to the fruit stand roof to roll it. Maybe make it move/jump around or flash or something like that. This seems to be a common question of where is the dice when I'm teaching the game to others.

Tanghulu is already available for general BGA users as any BGA player can play any beta game.

Some people won't play Beta games period just because they are Beta games. Also Tang Hu Lu won't get an official announcement like the other games that made it out of Beta.

Which is why the summer calendar is here for. Hopefully for you, that game will be part of this session.

Sounds hopeful. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Also would it be possible to eliminate the Invite Limit for Alpha games. I don't see the point of this limit. It's frustrating when playing games that are meant to be played at higher player counts to be told that you hit your limit. Plus there are so many games in Alpha, I don't see why the limit should be imposed when I try to play 2 different Alpha games at once or try to play the same Alpha game again shortly after the first game has ended, etc. Also there is no way to see how many invites I can send out or have left in a 24 hour period (my current understanding of the limit). Also it seems like failed invite attempts also count as legitimate invites. For example, I tried inviting 3 of my friends to a game, it says I hit my limit on the third one and deleted all of my invites for that table, and when I tried to just invite 2 friends, it says I hit my limit on my very first friend invite for that table of that game.

Also why does joining one turn-based game closes the other turn-based games I created? I created a turn-based 6-player Llama game for my friends, 4 friends already joined and I was waiting on the 5th. I then saw another turn-based Llama game that just needed 1 more player. I joined that table, thinking that my own table will still be open, but as soon as I joined, the table that I created that already had 5 friends signed up, closed on me with no warning. Why? Why can't my original table be open, especially since it's turn based? Can BGA make a change so this doesn't happen again?
