After a slowish start this season in Wingspan, I managed to make it to gold and then have gone on a very fortunate run having won 19 of my last 20 Arena games and actually tying the other. But between losing 6 spots in the rankings due to the tie and getting very few points for my wins, I've gone from like 16 to 10 over the last 6+ games.
The culprit, it appears, is I'm playing a lot of low ranking players (which admittedly has something to do with my unbeaten streak). Now, many of the games I've been wrapping up were initiated when I was silver and gold, so it would make sense. But I keep initiating games now that I'm among the top 20 and keep getting games against players who are bronze and/or have an ELO barely high enough to qualify for Arena.
At what point does it start matching me up with other players in the Elite league. I mean, I've gotten a few here and there/. Are they all plying RT games? Is that it? Because I play almost exclusively turn-based games.
I checked the FAQ and couldn't find anything on this.
