Ark Nova 1st action in 1st game

I've played the boardgame and am familiar with the rules, but I can't get started on the BGA implementation.

On my first turn, I try to build an enclosure. I click on the enclosure action and get the icon for the building I want. I can orient it as I want and place it next to a border space in the right configuration. I get the check mark on the screen, but the "confirm" button is greyed out no matter what I do. I have enough money and the building I want is within the power of of Build action. What do I need to actually execute the action?

You have started 2 games as "First game" so far. The "First game" is played with map A, which starts with a free size 3 enclosure in the bottom left. According to your description I assume you didn't try to build adjacent to this size 3 enclosure.

Thank you so much for prompt reply. You are exactly right. I didn't realize there was a free building and was trying to build adjacent to a different corner of the map. I;m sure I can progress from here
