Arena matchmaking

I have no points at bronze, 100 elo, 22% winrate and even though I set filters for average and below with everything locked I keep getting matched against gold arena, elite, strong and good players - am I missing something? I don't mind waiting to play against someone of my skill level but cant see what else I can do?

First, ELO is irrelevant in the Arena matchmaking, so adding restrictions will only affect normal games.

There is a filter for Arena settings, in the play now/Arena page. You open the filters for your game (the cog icon under your league icon), then show advanced options at the bottom of the pop up. Then you can restrict your opponent’s level. In your case, you probably want to restrict players from leagues 2+ away from you.
I’m not sure how effective this filter is. I never had any dysfunction with it, but people complain all the time about opponents too strong/weak for them in Arena, so it might not be 100% foolproof.

Side note: it’s very possible you will wait a lot longer, as there are few players from Bronze leagues who play in real time.

Thanks, I had no idea that there were separate filters on the Play Now page than if you go through Games/My favourites. I've just changed them and waiting for a game, I'll post back whether it works

I think it works. I've played 3 games now, all against the same person though! I've been waiting over 2 hours for my 4th
match at the moment so it's not perfect, but it's a nice change from being crushed by elite players

In my case, despite setting filters on opponent level and/or reputation, it doesn't work at all
