Est-ce normal d'être puni deux fois par les modérateurs pour un même événement? N'est-ce pas un peu abusif? Dans la société civile, on ne peut pas être jugé deux fois pour la même chose.

Est-ce que BGA est une société civile ?

I'm going to open my reply with the fact that I know nothing about the two recent moderations you've received other than what is visible from your profile page. I can see that you recently received two -10 karma moderations ... one three days ago and one yesterday.

From your question, I'm unsure if you were moderated twice for a single action in a game (e.g., two different opponents reported your behavior from a single game), or if you displayed the same negative behavior twice in two different games. I will try to address both.

The moderation policy https://en.doc.boardgamearena.com/Moderationpolicy does not indicate how the moderators handle multiple reports, from different players, of a single offense. In my mind, it is reasonable to conclude you should only be penalized once for one action, regardless of how many people were offended and reported the issue. If that's the case, it may be worth reporting to the moderators and letting them know you were penalized twice for the same action.

However, given that the moderation penalties were applied days apart, it is more likely that you displayed the same offensive behavior twice in two different games. If that is the case, then yes you can be penalized more than once. The moderation policy specifically mentions repeat offenders.

If you were moderated 2x for the same comments on the same table, this is indeed a moderation mistake and should be appealed through the proper channels. Please do not use the Forum to discuss moderation issues.
