You know what's annoying? When someone doesn't list YOUR language as something they can speak in their profile, and then starts using it to talk to you in chat. That should earn a thumbs-down, seriously.

I like to chat with people as I game. I'd like the ability to block people from joining a table if they don't speak the same language.

You can not force people to talk with you .

But I think you could put a language restriction on your table. Like en or en or whatever. I'm sure zh players would like that too

There is, of course, the button that shows up when you hover over a chat message that sends it to Google translate.

Of course, it would be nice if Google translate had "internet chat room" as one of its languages.

While listing a preferred language would be a nice feature under certain circumstances, considering how difficult it is to get some games started sometimes this could push it to prohibitive. Conversation at most tables I've seen is very limited anyway.
