Playing two Conservation Projects in one turn?

I have 5 X tokens and the Association Action Ugraded and in position 5. I don't have a Multiplyer on the Association Action and I'm not playing Silver Lake to take another action. I have four workers ready to use.

Is it possible to choose the Association Action and then select the +5 X tokens thus doing the Action at strength 10 and complete two Conservation Projects? It is offering me the option to take two hats or a partnership but not another Conservation project and wondered why that is.

It means I'll use the 5 X tokens and lose the 5 Ap points from Expert on Africa but gain 6 points from the second Conservation project. Just interested as to whether the above is possible though.

From the rules "If you have upgraded the Association action, you may perform several different association tasks with one action"

If you read the association card text, it says "different association actions".

The only way would be to have that x2 marker on your association action card. Otherwise, no, they must be different actions.
