co-op elo scoring

Just a thought on the elo scoring, with Wastelandia in beta only getting elo points for victory it feels hollow when you get through 3 stages to lose on the final boss. i do not know if the site can handle it but what if we got points based on the stage we get to? For example 25% of normal for 1st stage completion, 50% for 2nd, 75% for 3rd etc.
I do not know if any of the other co-op games do this but i also do not know if any other games are so clear cut into stages and are co-op on bga.

Paint the Roses attempted it (and it is technically possible), but it was ultimately rejected because 'the loss should be a loss, not a half-win'.
Maybe when BGA changes the current co-op result display algorithm it might get another shot...
(Currently, scores above 0 are treated as 'wins' regardless of the final situation)
