Moving buildings in iOS

How do I move a building before placing it in iOS? I know how to rotate it. I just can’t figure out how to actually move the building into place. I have tried dragging it and I’ve tried using the? For help neither seems to indicate how to do this

Just click where you want to place it. The fact that it's already placed does not prevent you from clicking anywhere else.
The actual placement will only take place once you hit confirm so dont be afraid to click it even if it get wrongly placed at first.
