Getting added to game tables - randomly

Any idea how I get added to games that I do not add myself to? All the sudden it pops up a new game and I am on the team of players but it's a game I tried once and didn't like

That looks like tournament registration. This is different games, ones I do not recall clicking to join a multiplayer turn-based game. That seems really off since it's games I don't particularly like. I play them to not hurt my reputation as a loss only really matters in the XP for that game, right?
