Possible to appear offline?

Would it be possible to have a setting where you appear offline? Does this setting exist already? Thanks!

No.

Look at the most upvoted site request (almost 1800 votes; next closest is 1164): Better Privacy: Hide Game History, Online Status, and only Mutual Friends. The only one of these ever to be implemented is requiring someone to accept a friend request. It used to be that you could "friend" someone unilaterally. Frankly, I don't think they even did this because of user requests, but to comply with legal requirements for protecting underaged users.
