Map 6 problems

Hello everyone

Been playing Ark Nova here for a while, but can get Map 6 to work.
Heres the rule for Map 6:

"Map 6 | Research Institute: The Research Institute is considered
connected as soon as you have placed a building on the
adjacent building space. You may build your first building
directly adjacent to the Research Institute, but you do not have
to. Once active, you can play Animal cards even when you are
1 condition short; you must still fulfill all other conditions. You
cannot ignore rock or water requirements."

I cannot in any way use this advantage, when playing on Map 6, even though all the surrounding conditions are fullfilled.
Anyone know what to do?

Well is there a specific game, or better move, you can show us? Because the map works perfectly fine for everybode else I think and it is very likely that something else didn't let you play the animals.

Did you have enough money? If you are playing an animal from the Display within your reputation range, you need to pay extra money for that. Also the rock and water condition cannot be ignored.

FYI, you also need to have a building adjacent to the Research Institute Icon(with a -1 on it) on bottom left to activate Map 6 special ability

You can watch a replay of your games and tell us at what move you wanted to play an animal and couldn't

Got a screenshot, the right size and JPG format. It fails to upload everytime (Error: Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached).
Have reported this as a bug. Wish I somehow could show you:-(

I'll describe the scenario:
I have a full enclosure by the Research Institute, thereby activating it.
I have 6 money.
I have an empy 1-size enclosure, next to the full enclosure by the Research Institue
I got the Raccoon, needing a size-1 enclosure (no water or rock requirements) and it costs 11 money.
No other requirement are listed on the Raccoon card.
I want to ignore the money condition, but cant. I can't even choose the animal action card (in 3rd poisition).

Missing something?

You said it in your own wording - money is a cost, not a condition. Condition refers to things like a Lion needing predator icons or an Eagle needing the upgraded animals action.

Playing two Elephants for free by ignoring their money cost would be pretty strong!

I just witnessed an instance (on table # 562822153) where the *only* condition not met was the adjacency of the enclosure to water, and map 6 did not allow the animal to be played. I had an Australia partner zoo, 21 credits, and a 5-space enclosure not next to water, and which itself actually was the connector for the special entrance; yet, Saltwater Crocodile could not be played; I was forced to play Long-Billed Vulture, instead.
