I think I remembered a while ago to have read to never said Small, since you got no upside to not say Guard instead.
While it's true at 3p and 4 players, I was wondering if it was at 5 players.
By saying small, you said to the other players that it's more likely that someone else got all others kings. But that your hand isn't enough strong to lead to a random 2v3 by saying Guard.
Would it be beneficial? And if yes is it anecdotical, rare, uncommun, or commun?
And on bga/tournament, you got value depending of the actual score of everyone.
Obviously, you got value when you are in the lead, to not lose much if you lose.
But outside of that, not sure of how that could matter. But it seem on bga that could make one less round.
