No option to slipstream after finishing race?

On my last turn of the game, I crossed the finish line and ended right behind another car. I chose to pass on the boost phase, as I was planning on slipstreaming to take the lead, but it didn't give me the option to slipstream. There weren't any sector effects to prevent slipstreaming. Is this a rule that I have overlooked that doesn't allow slipstreaming after crossing the finish line? It was table #465967389, my final turn started on move 269.

Yes it's in the rule. And there's a small icon next to the finish line to confirm it

slipstream cannot carry you across the finish line nor can you slipstream after the finish line.

Ahhh I see it now. I guess I assumed that icon by the finish line was a person holding the flag Thanks!

question... does this mean that if you were to slipstream past the finish line, you would have to move your car back to the finish line? (as if it were blocked as if two cars prevented you from landing in a space) or do you go past the finish line but then play one more turn? or are you simply prevented from even having the option to slipstream because it would put you over the finish line?
