When someone plays a game on BGA for the first time, this message is displayed under their name. But as far as I can tell, they get as much time as other players. Am I missing something?

I believe their starting time bank and max time is the same, but they get twice as much time back per turn, so might be hard to notice, especially if they play reasonably fast.
