Is there a reason why this game has no confirmation when claiming routes?

Some games get ruined because of misclicks on mobile. Not only for me but for my opponents. It sucks to lose/win that way.

During a TTR game, you can access to TTR Preferences with the button at top right, the 3 dashes (hamburger) button.
You have to set the "Confirm route claim" parameter to "Enable" (only).

I must have checked twice and never noticed it. Maybe it was the wording in french. Thanks!
