Hi!!
I write my questions in english, because lot of Haggis players don't speak french. I just want to have some explanations of this tournament.
1 - You have said that 5 boxes are to win. I don't really understand the Sean Ross role. If he is more then 5th, do you give a box for each player better than Sean? If yes, why say 5 boxes only are to win? If Sean is in one of the 5 first place, do you give less than 5 boxes? Is the challenge only be better than Sean, or only be in the 5 best players?
2 - What is the exact deadline for this tournament. You have only said June 15th. What is the exact time of the cut? What about non finished games at the cut time?
Sorry for this explanation request, but I think it's the first time real prizes are to win in BGA, and I didn't see a real official rule. I think it can be useful to write it to avoid discussion after June 15th.
An other suggestion if you want to organize others challenges with real prizes : not base the prizes on the ELO ranking. Like the post about hishigata says, it is easy to get a high ELO ranking using "borderline" behaviors (for me, hishigata is clean, but I understand that it can be taken as borderline). For me, the best way to give real prizes is to make a tournament at a given date and hour, or a tournament like the Dominion challenge, or the multigame cup, with a real official set of rules (delay, forbidden behaviors, with officials referee).
Such challenges are very exciting, just be careful in the future to avoid any discussion about it.
Best regards
