Quit solo match?

Hello,
I want to try out some new games. First in solo mode. Can I quit those solo matches without penalty in case I cannot come along with the game? Or do I still get a deduction of my reputation?

Yeah, you just quit when you are playing in solo mode and nothing happens. I think, it might screw up the win rate on the stats page of your profile, but since nobody actually cares about that it doesn't really matter.

If in doubt, play solo in training mode (in case there's even a choice).

This is a bug of some type - either it only happens in certain circumstances, or it's just never been "fixed" for solo games.

While it does say this, the game is in friendly mode: "no rankings, no time limit per turn, no penalties." Additionally, you have no quit penalties in the last 60 days, so a penalty has certainly not been applied to you.

When I want to practice a game with solo I’ll also set to turn based and then friendly. This gives a lot of time to think, go away, come back, etc.

Correct. This is a simple display bug: you lost nothing actually.
