Thank you for the tutorial! I feel like it is missing something, though--why there are two discard piles? What is the function of the face-up one? (Sorry, I forget the names they have in the game. Wilderness and something else.)

Wilderness is face down, graveyard is face up.

Wilderness is where most discards, including the mandatory one at the beginning of the game and at the end of every turn, go.

Graveyard starts with the buried emperor card, which is basically just a wild with no abilities.

When an effect says "bury" it goes (face up) to the top of the graveyard.
When an effect says "discard" it goes (face down) to the wilderness.

Some cards allow you to manipulate the graveyard in some way. Others have effects based on how many cards are in the graveyard.
