When did they start anonymysing players in Arena games on the Games in Progress page (and why)?

Post by nik592 »

Just noticed this tonight - my Arena games on my Games in Progress page now say my name only, other players are marked as "Player" with an Arena symbol over their avatar. Obviously I can see who I'm playing in the actual table, so I don't understand what the point of this is?

I just noticed it as well and thought at first it was some issue. Is this an intended change? Because I see no point at all, it is just annoying if I want to find a specific turnbased game to watch and also makes it a lot harder to find arena games I want to observe.

Awesome, thanks. If only other feedback was addressed so swiftly.
