But please, let me ask :

Even if I understand that when you engage yourself to play a game, you engage yourself in front of other players, so deciding to quit the game is totally unrespectful. Right. I understand that.

But when at the very beginning of a game you discover other players are playing totally unrespectfully to the game, and you dont feel confortable continuing playing with them, what can you do ?

Because you're truely not having a good time playing this game.
Of course you can ask for giving up... But if only one of the other players refuse, game goes on.

If you want to leave, you have to wait and get throw out of the game, loosing 20 points of karma...

Where is consent in that ?

You can quit, the option is up on the top right. If the players are abusive you can, and should, report them.

Depending on the situation:
- if they do reportable stuff, then just report them (dont do anything reportable yourself so no angry answer)
- if they have the habit of doing bad stuff, you can restrict table creation with a karma limit
- if they dont do reportable stuff, but you dont like the way they play the game (blocking players in Ticket To Ride, potential matchmaking), you can red thumb them

Otherwise, then no, there is nothing you can do because obviously anyone could use that to just get off a game when they see they might lose. Unless you play in friendly mode, then in this case you can leave without any penalty (but others can as well).

I don't know what situations op is referring to but I can think of several instances. I played a bang game with a player who refused to win the game with sid and instead keep disposing their cards so the game would last forever. So now I was stuck in a never ending game or a had to quit because they were abusing a flaw in the game. Even though there was only two players remaining in this game conceding wasn't an option because it started off more than 2. In uncle chestnut's if your opponent knows they will lose they can just never leave the starting position making it so the game will never end.
