Interpretation of corp "first action"

Bumped into this in a recent game - if someone playing Inventrix passes the first round without taking any actions, they do *not* need to take their "first action" free 3 cards. In this case they got their 3 cards as the first action of round 2.

Previously, I assumed that even if you intend to do nothing in round 1, "first action" implied "first action in the first round".
Couldn't find answer on BGG so wondering if anyone else has seen this answered officially, before I file a bug report.

Ah, makes sense. I assume it's already been filed and acknowledged by the dev?

My understanding is that this implementation is correct. 'First action' means whenever you happen to take it, does not have to be generation 1.
