Conceding an Arena Game

Post by Vol Jbolaz »

I just conceded an arena game. They won. We could keep playing, but they had already won. So I just conceded so they could move on to another game.

They didn't get any arena points for it. Is that a bug? Or is it normal for a Platinum 6 player to beat a Bronze 1 player and not get any arena points?

You opponent won Elo points and EAS points (Elite Arena Score, though hidden till Elite) but they got no Arena shields since your leagues were 3+ apart.

You lost Elo points and EAS points (hidden till Elite) but you lost no Arena shields since your leagues were 3+ apart.

If you had not conceded but played on (and lost) the outcome (Elo, EAS, shields) would have been exactly the same. Conceding just saved some time.

Thank you. I had already lost, and I was really worried that by conceding I had denied him shields or something. It did show the change in Elo.
