penalty points because could not access BGA server

I was playing a 3 player game of GIzmo today and was disconnected from the server twice. First time I was able to regain access to BGA after a few minutes and only received a time out penalty. The 2nd time, I could not access BGA server for 10 minutes and was ejected and penalized as a result.

This does not seem very fair as my internet was working throughout this time and the problem seems to be BGA's server as another player of the game also became a zombie player the same time I did

This has happened to me. It has happened to many people. Unless BGA acknowledges that there is a server-side issue (like they did yesterday when they posted a banner saying karma penalties will be neutralized), you are not getting your Elo or karma back, whether it's fair or not. Let's just say it's unfair, since arguing otherwise will go nowhere.

It is impossible for BGA to get in a time machine and retroactively test someone's connection to see if the problem was on the user's end.
