Phone logging in as the wrong Google account

I have previously been logged in to Google on my husband's phone.

Today he was logged out of BGA, and logging in on Google (even selecting his account) logs him in as me. I've logged out of Google on his phone, my account isn't even a log on option - but clicking his account still logs my BGA in.

Has anyone experienced this?
