Not able to reload gameinfos.inc.php

Hi Folks,

I am working on a game and when I try to reload gameinfos.inc.php, I am presented with a blank command window and nothing seems to be recorded. I tried also creating a new game from scratch and immediately tried to reload gameinfos.inc.php - same result. However, reloading gameinfos in games I created in the past is still working.

I've tried setting the php version back to 7.4 and clearing the php cache to no avail.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am in the same boat. I posed https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37206, because I didn't see this post. However, this post has had no action since, June 12th and now it is June 17th, 18th in some parts of the world. So I guess this is an ongoing issue.

I checked the issue and the studio fails when it tries to create the group for the game, because it can't find in icon for the group. If you add an icon in the Game Metadata Manager, then Reload game informations will be OK.

I had the issue, and adding an icon solved it, thank you

This worked for me too. Once I added the icon, I could reload the game infos.

I will make the obvious suggestion that there should either be:
1) A default Icon file
2) A missing icon file won't break the gameinfos.inc reload
3) An error message of the form "Missing icon file. Please upload one via the Metadata manager."

If this isn't the best place for this suggestion, please let me know where to post it.
