This is a humble request to all players on BGA, specifically those of you that enjoy playing Catan.
Please, take a thorough look at the game settings BEFORE you join a table. Some players seem to be oblivious of the fact that a game is set up to have, for example, a fast speed or include the Friendly Robber variant, and then there are disagreements or even arguments around the table. I find it very discouraging to have the same conversation over and over, when the decision has already been made before the game even began, and the consequences that often are that players play slowly on purpose, target others or behave badly in the chat, just really ruins the fun. I'm sure I'm not the only one ending up with bad karma every now and then because of leaving a game when the opponents aren't playing accordingly.
