Currently, if we want to restrict our games, the best we can do is an 85% reputation. Unfortunately, there are many players with a 100% reputation that still have many time penalties, because they are able to quickly repair their reputation with a bunch of short games. I've noticed that most fast turn-based games have players joining with completely incompatible time zones and they eventually run out of time.
I would like the ability to create a game where players cannot have any time penalties in the last 60 days. This option could go in the same menu (possibly with a 100% reputation requirement).
I understand that this would make a game take longer to fill, but it would be worth the wait for some players.
People would find it particularly painful to receive time penalties, especially when they feel it was out of their control. That would be unfortunate, but there would still be plenty of games available without this stringent requirement, and the penalties would expire after 60 days.
I've created a suggestion if you would like to vote for it: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=127414
