i lose so bad at this.. what are some strategic tips?

U can watch ur own replays, but focus on ur opponents' moves.
And before clicking next turn, think what would U do if u were ur opponent,
and check what he did. If it's different from what u think, think about WHY?
U can also watch some top elo players' replays as well.

If possible, I like to have the third bubblee for a set only one move away in the sky at the end of my turn. This way my opponent will either have to actively do something about it, or I get a set next turn. However, I sometimes also lose horrendously.
