Hello,
I'm looking for developers for a labor of love!

I've always been a huge fan of the Civilization computer game, and I've tried to replicate that feeling in board game format. I know, it's not an original concept
. But I think my version has several things going for it:
I hired an illustrator, Racknar Teyssier, for the artwork. I've laid out all the game materials, making them suitable for professional printing (and a BGA implementation!).
The rulebook is here: http://www.alaporte.net/civ/docs/CivGlory-Rules.pdf
I've created a "How to Play" video: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVLP ... ZNJREt6dDF
I'd like to share my work with board gamers around the world, which is why I'm reaching out to you! I'm hoping that having an online version will also make it easier for me to reach out to publishers and find one willing to produce the game (or, alternatively, having an online version will create a built-in audience for a Kickstarter campaign!). I'm not in this for the money
I suspect this game will be somewhat challenging to program on BGA (mostly because of all the units involved, and because there's a need for basic AI for pirates and barbarians—though they could be player controlled). But I would be happy to work closely with you and to tweak the rules if necessary to make the game work better on BGA.
I can communicate in both English and French.
Thank you!!
Amaury

- Epic feel as players develop technologies and deploy big armies.
- Random map that players gradually unveil and explore.
- Straightforward mechanics (minimal fuss, maximum fun!).
- Extensive player interactions (bidding, trading, fighting...).
- Balanced game system that keeps all players engaged (no elimination).
- Barbarians & pirates to spice things up—hordes can be unleashed!
- Player differentiation with leaders, wonders, unit levels....
- Engaging combat system with surprise attacks and boosts.
- Random events that can be player-specific or affect all players.
