For a new game implementation with a lot of moving parts
Why is there no undo like ark nova or terraforming. I should be able to undo anything that doesn't reveal new info

There are two to three confirm steps on each move. Do we really need an undo on top of that?

There are two reasons there are not undo buttons: 1) there are confirmation buttons all over the place to ensure that you don't screw yourself with a misclick. 2) while this game has many parts, most turns are pretty simple actions. The exceptions are distilling and selling which both have a bajillion ways to back out or start over.
If there are specific things you want to be able to undo that you can't, please let me know.

I suppose there is a third reason which is that I'm a first time bga developer and didn't think it would be an expectation. As a result, I didn't design it in a way to make it easy to put that in

Considering this is your first game - you did a really great job! I would never decide to start with anything THAT complex on BGA. My first BGA game was just a dice "push-your-luck" one

Really appreciate your effort!

Not gonna lie... I didnt realize how complex Distilled was until I started writing the code for it.

One major reason to have undos available (or at least timered undos) is because of mobile play. I have misclicked more often than I like in multiple games.

when you're learning the game you might not know the consequence of your action until you are already in sequence, which also makes some of the confirms totally pointless because you can't back out from the action anyway. Like I think one was I bought water first, realized that I didn't want to reveal a card and would have liked to take yeast first so i had the possibility of buying something revealed but couldn't undo, even though I hadn't revealed anything.

I agree. I also didn't see a confirm button when I accidentally clicked the wrong thing in the market.

But love the adaptation.
