Adding 'advance pass' when done buying in the Market Phase?

I've only played a few turn based games, so I thought I'd poll the forums before adding a formal suggestion. But how do you all feel about adding a new button when you are done. Similarly to the "advance pass' in Terraforming Mars. In that game, you mark that you're done for the rest of the current phase (generation) so the game automatically skips your turn.

I was thinking that this would be a good addition for turn-based games, at least. Because I think you both have to pass and not make any game state effecting moves and at 1 move/day that's at least a day of game play lost. Or, am I over thinking this or have the timing off. I only have a few games under my belt and just wanted to bounce it off of the regular players.

I think new cards entering the market happens too often for this to be a practical feature here. It's already fairly common for players to spend till they cannot afford anything in the market. The current implementation already detects that a player cannot buy anything and does an automatic pass. So, the only time the advanced pass would do anything is when a player is trying to save money for the next turn. If the advanced pass canceled itself on game state changes, it would frequently do so. If it did not, players would hurt themselves since most things you're saving for can just be bought ahead of time if newly revealed.

Some people might appreciate the feature, but I'd rather see development time go towards resolving any beta bugs and/or expansion content for the time being.

My intuition is in line with what Sirius said. It's very very possible for a card to be revealed that you want to snap up. Happy to hear if this is something other people want.
