eNDING OF sEASON RANKINGS DROP

Hi.. not sure if Im in the right place - if not - apologies and if so, hope you can help or steer me in the right direction..
I just need to clarify what actually happens to my earned rankings at the end of each season... (Arena ofc)

Mine always drop back to Bronze, except for one silver.. don't even have gold - that's gone too along with platinum and elite - yet, even though I have adjusted 'who I am comfortable to play with", players in 500s, 400, even 6oo turn up as opponents! And ofc I lose badly. 'Slaughtered' if you like!
(Yes yes.. that's 2 separate issues I know, ty ty)

Why do most of my ranking achievements , (quite a few were Elite and diamond too) are now Bronze. As this happens at end of every season Ive played, I'm wondering why mine drop but I still play others whose obviously hasn't dropped .. (They could not get back to 600 without playing for some time or even 200 without playing for some time .. and not within hours of the beginning of a new season)

Please can someone help me understand .. thank you!
Btw, I tried to find something somewhere in the forums regarding this using "end of season" "ranking/elo drop" and a few others but nothing came up Cheers

Some Explanation About: Relegations
 
At the end of each season, after winners have been awarded, you are relegated.
 
Some custom relegation rules may have been applied to games for some reason (ex: we decided to update the number of leagues), but in general here is what happens:
 

• For games with 6 or 5 different leagues, all players are decreased by 3 leagues.
• For games with 4 different leagues, all players are decreased by 2 leagues.
• For games with 2 or 3 different leagues, all players are decreased by 1 league.
• For all games and all leagues, your number of Arena points is reset to 1, and your AES ("Arena Elo") is reset to 1500.
